My Personal Story

For me, there is something deeply moving and beautiful about witnessing people come into closer contact with themselves and with who they are at their core. Some of my earliest memories of this are playing with my younger brother and supporting him as he explored the world in his own unique way.

Years later, I discovered a deep fascination with personal development and with the freedom that can emerge through self-discovery. I began exploring relational skills, emotional intelligence and trauma therapy, and experienced how profoundly this work could shape the way I related to myself and others. For several years, I worked as a coach for The School of Life, sharing many of these learnings in the fields of emotional intelligence and leadership.

Then, in 2023, a profound personal experience inspired me to begin writing children's books about nonviolent communication, nervous system regulation and empathy. Making these relational skills accessible to children and families felt deeply meaningful to me, and it still does.

This eventually inspired me to write for adults as well. The Art of Relating brings together many of the insights and practices that have supported me over the years in developing a healthy relationship with myself, with others and with life. Its intention is to make these skills simple and accessible for others as well.

My latest book, Separating with Love, brings many of these approaches into the context of conscious uncoupling. When my partner and I ended our relationship of almost ten years, I experienced how much love, compassion and connection can remain part of a separation. That experience inspired me to share this possibility with others.

At the heart of all my work is something very simple: supporting people in experiencing the freedom to be themselves, and the aliveness that can emerge when we are deeply in contact with ourselves.

“The spontaneous movement in all of us is toward connection, health, and aliveness. Just as a plant spontaneously moves toward sunlight, there is in each of us an impulse moving toward connection and healing.”

Laurence Heller, Founder of NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Model)

Aspects of my Role

Facilitation

I see my role as creating a space where you can come into deeper contact with yourself and follow what feels true for you. Rather than offering a plan for how you should work on yourself, we explore what may be getting in the way of living the way you want to live.

Generous Clarity

In our process, my intention is to give everything the space and time it needs to unfold. At the same time, I stay connected to your intention and bring clarity to the process, so we can focus on what matters most to you.

Trust

I deeply trust that there is a natural movement within you towards healing, integration and aliveness, even when this may not always feel accessible. Therefore, I see my role as creating a space in which this movement can unfold.
